Welcome to the list David I have interests re COOMBER too but not sure if they overlap or not, what time period do you have? Mine are in teh Ardingly, Lindfield etc area and go way back. I have pedigrees from a book about the various families if it is of any interest. I have possibly PACKHAM too but only very vaguely - have not been ablo to ascertain if the name is PACKHAM, or PECKHAM, or even PICKHAM Ann PECKHAM or PACKHAM etc married James HEMSLEY 27 July 1785 in Isfield and she MAY have been from there or Fletching. That is all I have so far. Hope you find the list as good and helpful as I have. Hi Jan, My 3xGt Grandmother was Susanna Gurr married to William King 1829 in Isfield. her father was William Gurr b 1788 in Isfield died 1872 in Uckfield. I dont have any other of the Gurr family so I dont know if there is a connection after 1850. Wonder if this rings any bells with you?
