Hi Pam, On the 1871 census with James Lucas. I checked the IOW FHS BMD and found: BROWN, Henrietta 1866 St John, Northwood LUCAS, James BROWN, Henrietta 1844 HARVEY Cowes I would say that is not her, but thanks for looking. On Gwendoline Falla at Derbyshire that one I am not sure about. Her father George Falla married again to Charlotte Ernestine Denise Algathe Falla (I found the name in the UK National Archive listing a divorce in 1910) I think about the only I am going to find Henrietta's husband actual name is to find the burial record for her. Thanks everyone for the help, its appreciated. Walter
Walter, Do you have the marriage certificates for Dorothy? Her father's name and occupation should be listed. The names of the witnesses may also be useful. I have been following this thread and am unsure as to the information that shows that Dorothy was the daughter of Henrietta and William. Hi Mark, I haven't ordered the marriage certificates as I am unsure as to which one to order. I am not sure if Dorothy is Henrietta's daughter, maybe she was adoped. My 2x Great Grandfather Alexander Morgan is the brother to Henrietta listed on the 1851 and 1861 census. Another sister by the name of Kate (nee Morgan) Best wrote letters to my family back in 1916 telling of the death of Henrietta Lucas. I also have pictures of Henrietta and Dorothy sent from England within the same time period. Alexander Morgan passed away 16 Oct 1916 in Hoxie, Sheridan County, Kansas, United States. My family received one letter, Alexander died, and then another letter came. After the second letter, we never received anymore letters or packages from England. thanks Walter
