Sue: My earliest confirmed STREETER ancestors occupied Dunnings Farm in East Grinstead. I have researched many other STREETERs in surrounding parishes. Nutley lies between East Grinstead and Maresfield. Although we cannot define the exact nature of the connection (yet), the descendants of the East Grinstead and Marefield STREETER families have the same DNA so perhaps your friends would prove to be long-lost cousins as well.
