    3. Hi Anji, nice to hear from you. Thanks so much for the look ups. Unfortunately It doesnt help much does it, unless I can find the birth/baptism of Susanna. William and Susanna were my 3xGt Grandparents. I am descended from their daughter Martha b 1838 and she was the sister of Mary Ann b1846 who married Frank Blann. No, I agree, The IGI isnt very reliable when they are not the original extracts. I have William King and Susannah Gurr in my records but I haven't linked Frank Blann & Mary Ann King into the same line that I'm connected to yet. I have found the following on the Sussex Marriage Index: William Gurr of Fletching marr. Frances Bennett otp, on 8 Apr 1809 at Maresfield by Banns William Gurr marr. Lydia Lloyd botp, on 29 May 1801 at St John, Southover, Lewes I assume you have looked at the IGI where there are two different Williams both chr on 30 Mar 1788, one at Isfield (who is said there to be the spouse of Frances) and the other at Fletching. As neither of these are extracted records they may not be correct!! Unfortunately Susannah doesn't appear either in the IGI or in the baptism index on Family History Online. He had a daughter Susanna b 1812 in Lewes, who married William King. William Gurr's wife was, as far as I know, Lydia. But I may have the wrong name as there is a family which fits the birth date of William with wife Fanny which sounds right. I found a Lydia on the 1841 by herself which would be wrong when William should have been with her. If anyone on the list has access to Marriage licences or baptisms I would be grateful for a look up. Many thanks Eileen
