Hi, we've just taken over as co-ordinators for the 1861 Sussex Census transcription project for FreeCEN, and are keen to recruit new helpers. Transcribing the handwritten census returns into spreadsheet form is what's required. Could you give a few hours (well, alright, several hours...) to help out? You'll be helping to complete one of the better searchable databases - and it's FREE, of course - and can probably choose to work on a village or parish in Sussex where you have a particular interest.
