    3. Hi, the county of Sussex is divided into West and East Sussex, A William Gibbs, bachelor married at Battle, East Sussex a Elizabeth Fuller, spinster both of Battle on the 5th of January 1792.     3. LeeAnn, My gggg grandmother was Charlotte Gibbs (b abt 1818 in Sedlescombe, Sussex; died between 1857 and 1861). Her father was Thomas Gibbs. She married Walter Sellens. Have you come across Charlotte Sellens in your research. Thomas and Charlotte are a brick wall for me.
