Apart from the 70+ spelling variations of the name, many other surnames appear as well - those who have married into or out of the family, witnesses, beneficiaries to wills, etc. - 6,756 events altogether. Feel free to send me any additions or amendments, citing source of information, please, or just your name if you don't know the source. Please also say whether you are happy to be contacted about any data you have asked to be added. The database has become too big to include non-UK data, though you should find names of emigrants where they are available. Apologies if this is disappointing to overseas researchers, but there are now many country-specific sources of information available online so this shouldn't cause too much of a problem. There should be another major update early in 2012. Regarding my website, I have tried to ensure that my latest email address * [email protected]* is put in all the instances where the site says "contact me", but if I have missed any I apologise again.
