I have information from pages of a family bible but am unable to find any other evidence to show proof. Richard Smith married Lucy Piper nee Ransom in Hollington, Sussex 10 July 1827. (This is from Sussex marriage index). They had the following children Joseph b. 2 Nov 1824 Mahala b. 24/9/1826 James b. 14/8/1829 Charles b. 14/7/1831 and d. 29/10/1831 Lydia b. 9/9/1832 and d. 9/10/1832 Philadelphia b. 16/7/1833 and d. 20/2/1836 Lucy b. 24/12/1835 and d. Mar 1836 Is anyone able to help me confirm these births and deaths please? With thanks Chris Randall
