    3. Hi Sussex Plus List.   Is anyone chasing the Weeks family that originated in Wadhurst, Sussex?   If so I would to hear from you.   These were my paternal ancestors and I do have some information ready to compare and share.   Hope for a positive reply.   Rona.

    3. Rona, Funny you should post this, this week. I was working on my very extended family last week and came across a Harriet WEEKS born C1835 in Wadhurst, Sussex. - who in 1859 married William CANE (born: C1829 in Wadhurst, Sussex). Their children, all born Wadhurst, Sussex, are: George - born: C1860 William - born: C1863 James - born: C1866 John - born: C1869 I have this family in the 1861 and 1871 census. In both 1881 and 1891 William is a widow so can only assume Harriet had died before 1881 census. Have not looked for Harriet in 1851 census yet, so don't know her parents. Like I said this is a very distant part of my tree and I can not remember quite how I got down this line - l follow lines of the families that marry into my lines and then the ones that marry into them - because sometimes this has led me back to one of my lines via a circle of inter-marriages. (hope this bit makes sense).
