I have just found a marriage between a Edwin George Herriott in March 1929 to a Dorothy E Rice at Steyning. I an researching a Dorothy A (Dolly) Rice (1897) of Steyning and was wondering if it might be the same lady. He parents were Albert and Emily Charlotte Rice and they live at High St, Steyning which was a Harness and saddlery shop. They was also a brother Albert Edward (1893) who I think took over the business, but I cannot find a marriage for him. Also another sister Eva Maud (Edith) (1901) who I think I have found living in Brighton up until 1968 and then in Horsham until 1981. I found this from Ancestry phone book listings. I am hoping that someone is researching the Herriott family of Brighton and have Edwin in their tree and might be able to tell me if I am on the correct "branch" as I have come to a halt with this family Looking forward to a reply Ann (NZ)
