HI.. I'm hoping that some kind soul can help me out...I'm looking for the residence of #9 Hythe Road Preston, Sussex. This is where my mother in law was born, according to her birth certificate and there is no father listed. Her mother came from London to have the baby then returned to London leaving the baby behind. My mother in law's name was Hilda May (Whittington) Boote, as she was raised with the BOOTE family and came to Canada in 1907 and Hilda's mother's name was Agnes Kate Whittington. The houses in Hythe Road are still standing and were built from the late 1890s onwards. The road next to Hythe is Sandgate Road which has very similar houses.
