HI... I'm still persuing the family who resided at #9 Hythe Road, Preston, Sussex in 1904. It was suggested that I'm going to need a whole lot of luck and possibly so, however I would think that there must be some why of tracking families apart from the census which only happen every 10 years. Nivard had suggested I try the Electoral Rolls but I'm stumped as to where to search for them?? any suggestions? Also, what parish would #9 Hythe Road be in and is it in East or West Sussex? Thanks again for your help Cheers Dave
Hi Dave You said you have the 1901 for that address (CAREYs) look at the top of the page it will tell you the Ecclesiastical Parish they were in For electoral rolls, google the library in the Preston area , if they don't have them they should know who does Some will want payment but some will check a one of address Note : they are by address not by name There used to be a web site for checking library holdings such as electoral rolls http://www.familia.org.uk/ But it does not seem to want to load so not sure if it still works or not Nivard Ovington in Cornwall (UK) PS you may think there is some way of tracking down families apart from the census, that does not mean anything actually exists > HI... > I'm still persuing the family who resided at #9 Hythe Road, Preston, Sussex in 1904.
