Frank Grieve Jackson was born in Kilbarchan, Renfrewshire in June 1873. His parents were Helen Telfer and Robert Jackson (born 1835, son of Robert Jackson and Isabella Crawford)and married in Kilbarchan in 1859. I found Frank in the 1901 census in Glasgow as a draper but in 1911 he was a visitor to the "Shearer" family in Fairlight, Hastings - at age "36" he was said to be a retired draper. Frank, unmarried, died in 1947 in Molash and his obituary notice said that he was a respected Romney Sheep breeder.
