ANYONE who uses the REPLY for these type of emails (Linda's) is running right into the trap set by whomever sent this email. The only proper way to handle them is to DELETE WITHOUT OPENING them. Any other action may/probably will send something to the originator (embedded but not obvious) to let him know there was action on the email and WHO sent that reply along with whom it was sent to. It is probable that Linda's email itself may not have been hacked but only here email address was co-opted and this email was sent from a computer in another country. It is also possible that the originator may be a subscriber to this, and many other, List Serve services (I have seen this type of email on quite a few here in the U.S.) and is using them to "Farm" real email addresses for use in sending PHISHING emails trying to get individuals to respond whether it be by clicking the link OR replying. Obviously, an empty subject header is a good indicator, but there are still a fair few people that send genuine messages without a subject. -- Regards _ / ) "The blindingly obvious is / _)rad never immediately apparent" It's only the children of the ------- wealthy tend to be good looking Ugly - The Stranglers
