Good evening from Australia, I wonder if anyone has access to the above records for 1916 and 1956? I am interested in getting the burial place details of: Anthony Marshall Stuart WARMINGTON who died as a 1 day old baby on the 5th May 1916 at Ardingly, and if there is a headstone for him? Also his mother: Elsie Stuart WARMINGTON, who is thought to be buried in/around Ardingly in December 1956, or early Jan 1957. Again would there be a headstone for her? The STUART family lived at Stonehurst, Ardingly for those that know the area. John and Mary Anne STUART are buried at St. Peter's, Ardingly. I have been told that there was a private burial ground within the Stonehurst property, would anyone know if this is correct? With regards, (\__/) (='.'=) (")_(") Susan, Victoria, Australia. Linda ages, places of birth etc would be helpful. We need more information to narrow the search and hopefully get the correct family. There's a Dora Bone birth reg Surrey and a George Edward reg Faversham Kent, but are these yours??? So that makes three counties with Hampshire, and you are on the Sussex list, so that's four..... Happy to help Cheers Pam > Hi all! > Would someone be kind enough to look for John BONE aged 31, and wife > Elizabeth and children Dora and George Edward on the 1901 census. Does anyone know in which year the A259 road from Eastbourne to Bexhill was built? It replaced the old Barnhorne Road, which used to wind its way across the marshes. Remnants of the old road can still be seen on either side of the A259 at about the turn-off for the villages of Hooe, Ninfield, and Battle. >From old correspondence, it must have been completed before 1936. Any help would be appreciated. Regards, John
