Hi Folks, We are planning a visit in June, 80% genealogy, to introduce our grandson to his English Ancestry and I need a little help in the Hurspierpoint area. I am trying to find an Edwin John Catt normally known as John Catt. He was born in Essex, moved to Canada in 1969 and returned to England in 2000. The email address I found for 2000 has bounced hence my request to try and find him again. There are a lot of CATT's living in Sussex, otherwise he could be anywhere in England. Perhaps he is in Surrey as he remarried there in 2004. Is it possible for someone to lookup the Electoral Roll or similar to see if he is somewhere around the area please. I would like to contact him regarding his grandfather's family. Many thanks for anyone who can help. Kind regards Judy Berntsen New Zealand
Thank you to all listers who replied to my test message. I had trouble in the last two days trying to get through but this morning at last something happened and it went through,. I was getting fed up with the message always being returned when I knew I had the correct address on it. Whatever it was, seems to have corrected itself now. So back to normal again. Regards Judy Berntsen

Have you any idea of his approximate date of birth? And his wife's name - I have a sub to a site which allows certain searches, but to be able to find the right one with a common name an age band is needed. The site subtracts points for each search, so the most info possible helps to "cost" the fewest points. With the ones I have done, it says X and Y are also in the household. Now I am having problems either sending a message to the list or to the Administrator of the list. My emails keep bouncing. Are you able to give me the correct address for the list and also the administrator. I have sent numerous ones to the list at the address listed on the website and also to the administrator. I have sent them to: [email protected] and [email protected] My email address is: [email protected] I was wondering if you could confirm for me that the two addresses I have listed are correct. I hope you don't mind me contacting you as I don't know of any other way to find out what is going on. Once I find out that is correct and they still bounce I will have to get in touch with our internet provider for an explanation. Very many thanks Heather. Kind regards Judy Berntsen New Zealand
Hi, I am not researching these names, but would like to add a bit. First you say John Bookham married Elizabeth Fulvin at Kirkford July 19th 1669. The IGI and the SMI has a Richard Bookeham married to her. Son John who married Mary had 3 children CHR at Northchapel. >From the West Sussex archives on line. Northchapel overseers of the poor, settlement. Certificate granted for legal settlement in the parish April 4th 1720 for John Bookham from Lodsworth and wife Mary. John Bookham married Elizabeth Bossall October 18th 1745 at Lodsworth? This marriage is on the IGI but not on the SMI. A Elizabeth Bosall, daughter of John was CHR at Lodsworth October 21st 1721. Hi everybody. I am trying to find out who a relative of mine was who lived near my grandfather (Montague Ernest) who lived at 28 Annington Road in Eastbourne. The lady relative was called 'Aunt Florrie' (Florence probably) but I never knew the husbands name. They would have lived in Kerrara Terrace or Avondale Road or Mona Road or Clarence Road or Kilda Street or other street very near and we always went to their back gate which was near a junction of some alleyways. Or if someone has a directory for about 1954 - 1960 with these streets..... I have a Elsie Florence JEFFREY marrying Clifton Stanley BANKS in 1910, could this be Florrie? They lived in Latimer Road in 1911. Thanks, David
No, there aren't any RIDDLE's in my husband's family tree, I am interested in this particular family from the Worthing area because of some research that I am doing into the typhoid epidemic of 1893. Best wishes, Marion Woolgar Bognor Regis, West Sussex
