Not much luck with Arthur Sidney Smith sadly, hs birth was Mar qtr 1894 at Bridge (Kent) I spoke to his daughter today but she can not remember if he had siblings. 1. [SXP] Jane CHANDLER
    2. Ted White
    3. Hello all, I am returning to the list after a long absence. Recently I obtained the death certificate of my great grandmother, Jane CHANDLER (nee ADAMS). She died of TB, age 25 on 23 July 1860 and she had been living at 2 West Hill Place, Brighton with her husband Charles (and three children). Can anyone suggest where she would have been buried from that location please? Jane was born about 1834 but I have not been able to find her baptism yet. Her mother was Sarah LAKER who was born in Ashurst and her father Thomas ADAMS who was from Alfriston. They were married in Washington, Sussex on 14 February 1834 and moved to Southwick where they raised a large family of whom Jane was the oldest. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I should look for her baptism; I only have access to records which are online? (I could not find her baptism in the Southwick PRs). Also Charles died in 1908 (having married twice more!!) while living in Goldstone Road in Hove. How can I find where he would have been buried? Thank you for any help. I would be pleased to hear from anyone connected to these families. Best wishes, Ted White, Burlington, Ontario, Canada

    1. [SXP] Frank Grieve Jackson
    2. Liz Graydon
    3. Frank Grieve Jackson was born in Kilbarchan, Renfrewshire in June 1873. His parents were Helen Telfer and Robert Jackson (born 1835, son of Robert Jackson and Isabella Crawford)and married in Kilbarchan in 1859. I found Frank in the 1901 census in Glasgow as a draper but in 1911 he was a visitor to the "Shearer" family in Fairlight, Hastings - at age "36" he was said to be a retired draper. Frank, unmarried, died in 1947 in Molash and his obituary notice said that he was a respected Romney Sheep breeder. Frank was the father of my father; my fathers mother was Annie White born 1887 in Hinxhill, Kent. Does anyone have any interests in Frank? Liz

I found the image I was querying on, it was on Find My Past. My thanks go to Robyn & Bill, Mary Windsor for the photo, and Simon & Chris Brickell. I certainly know where to post queries in future. I have never had a failure on this list, always a positive reply. Regards Judy Berntsen New Zealand
