I haven't been in several years. My granfather was Eddie Franklin Surrency. I have requested info on joining DAR under Samuel DeSurrency's name. It has been difficult finding info as there are so many variations on this name... Some of the info that I came across from Marlboro County SC says that he was in the Regiment of Rangers.
