If you would like to contact others to Samuel S. Surrency, both he and his brother William fought in the Civil War. William died in the hospital at Charleston, SC. They had a sister named Mary Jane Surrency who married James Daniel Zorn. They are buried at Gum Branch in Liberty Co., GA. There was another boy named John M. Surrency. He married Sabra Roberson(sister to Wealthy who married A. P. Surrency). He is buried at Mendes, GA. John is probably a son from a first marriage. James married again for probably his third marriage to a Hester Sasser or Saucer and started another family. I believe that Hester was a Glisson before her first marriage. After James died, Hester and her children moved to Nassau Co., FL, and are buried down there for the most part. There was one son named Robert Surrency who married a Marietta Brown and moved to Bradford, FL. I can't remember if another son named Jacob Riley Surrency who married Delilah Norton is buried in Nassau or not?! The other boys married married Gay girls. There were some sisters as well.
