My grandmother told my mother that her name was Carrie Black, yet marriage records state Mary Carrie Surrency. What I have found, but may not be correct, is: Mary Carrie Surrency Born Jan 8, 1887 Died March 26, 1936 Married Jesse Martin "Bud" DeLoach on May 25, 1900. 3 children - Maude abt 1903, WilliJo Abt 1905. Sally Kate Abt 1907 and Edna Abt 1908. I know there was an infant son Curtis, but not sure on dates. I know Bud remarried twice after Carrie. His second marriage only lasted a short time and produced no children. His last marriage to Alma Brown produced 5 children - Jesse Parker, Janey Ruth, Gene, Frank, & Mary.
