WELLS Vashti; MS,USA > LA,USA; 1833-1920 I am looking for the parents and siblings of Vashti WELLS: Vashti WELLS b. 3 Dec 1833 in MS d. 1920 LA in LeCompte, LA m. 26 June 1856/57 Joseph SMITH (24 Sept 1836 - 15 July 1863) in MS m. Anderson Lenard CHAFIN (d. 1883) on 1 September 1864 in LA Vashti and her first husband were in Rapides Parish, LA for the 1860 census. In MS (Pike Co.?) there was a Vashti WELLS born in 1809, daughter of Nathaniel WELLS (1781 SC) and Elizabeth SIMMONS (1782). If one of her brothers had a child named Vashti, the brother's name would have been Robert, William M. or even possibly Ebenezer.
