I have in front of me a copy of the Burgess Geneology written in 1865. it has the following; Remember Burgess (4) b. 23 June 1714 son of Samuel Burgess and Elizabeth ______? Samuel is the son of John Burgess and Mary Worden John is the son of Thomas Burgess and Dorothy Phippin Thomas Burgess came to america sometime around 1630, he moved to Sandwich, Mass. in 1637 .. I have much on this Family my mom is also a descendant of Thomas Burgess ..... and by the way .. my line also is through your Samuel Burgess hello cousin!
