TORPY; IRL > western NY,USA; 1825-1902 Hi, Seeking info on family of James TORPY, b 1825 IRL, d abt 1902 in Attica, Wyoming Co., NY; buried in Hornellsville, Steuben Co., NY. He was a railroad man. Believe he was married twice. Little is known of the Hornellsville connection but he did have TORPY grandchildren there. His daughter Mary m Frank KEOUGH and they lived in Buffalo, NY. James' son Michael and daughter Katherine Torpy SWEENEY also lived in Attica, Wyoming Co., NY. Michael, also a railroad man, died in Niagara Falls, NY abt 1908. Michael TORPY was m to Catherine OAKLEY from Angelica, Allegheny Co., NY. They had two children: Mary Frances TORPY and Vincent James TORPY. Would love to make some connections on this line!
