ABBOTT; MD,USA>NC,USA>TN,USA>IN,USA; 1755-1836 I am researching the family of John ABBOTT. He was born 16 Feb 1755 in Dorchester County, MD where he married Margaret WILLIAMS. They resided in MD until 1780, when they moved to Guilford County, NC. John served in the Revolutionary War from NC, and after the war he lived in various parts of NC, SC, TN and IN. He and Margaret had a daughter Priscilla ABBOTT 3 September 1785 in Rockingham, Rockingham County, NC. Around 1803 they moved to Sumner County, TN where they lived for about 25 years.
