LORD Charles; ON,CAN>IN,USA>WI,USA; 1828-1850 LORD, Charles I am at a dead end in my search for Charles LORD. According to his obituary he was born in 1828 in St Francis, Ontario, Canada. The only St Francis that I could find in Ontario is Smiths Falls in Lanark county which was named St Francis for a short time. I did find a St Francis du Lac Indian reserve, but I could not find any information on it. I also know that he was a bussinessman in Montreal Just before he came to Indiana in the US arround 1850. He worked as a baker and owned a bakery as well as working in a mine after he came to the US. I know it's not much to go on but that's all I have.
