Jane Taylor was named as a wife of Patrick McCay in the 1800 will of John Taylor, but in about 1825 Jane Little was named in a deed for that property, indicating that Jane had ceased to be married to Patrick McCay and was by then a wife of a man named Little. There is a deed filed in Westmoreland County re Beaver County property in 1825 that shows Jennet/Jane married a second time and had at least one child by a man named Little. I am a descendant of Thomas Taylor, father of Jane Taylor, who immigrated from Beaver Co, PA to Richland Co, OH in about 1826. Patrick and Jennet (Taylor) McCay last seen in 1800 census in Beaver Co, PA. There is a Thomas Little in 1810 census who looks promising to be our Jane's second husband. Jane appears as head of household in 1820, indicating the Little second husband died before 1820.
