He was a potter who bought land in Muskingum Cty,OH in 1838. Marr Mary ? who was born in Mar 1816 in OH and died 06 Oct 1855 in Hopewell OH. She is buried in the Mt. Sterling Cemetary there. Children: 1) Mary H., born in 1836 in OH. 2) Charles William. See below. 3) Eliza J., born 1841 in Muskingum County, OH 4) Amanda, born 1843 in Muskingum County, OH 5) Sarah E., born 1845 in Muskingum County, OH Second Generation Charles William TERRY, b 1839 in Muskingum County, OH; d 30 May 1879 in Boone, IA, where he was a potter. He marr Sarah Melissa RICHARDS on 20 Oct 1859 in Eldora, IA. Sarah was born 20 Mar 1843 in Mt. Sterling, OH to Edward RICHARDS and Eliza DICK. She died on 19 Oct 1928 and is buried at Woodlawn Cemetary in Denison, IA. Childrern: 1 Jessie, b 1863 in Boonesborough County, IA. She died on 14 May 1952 at Denison, IA and is buried there at the Oakland Cemetary. William was Presbyterian and Frances Methodist Episcopal. Children: 1 Rolla Ullmont.
