He may have moved to Detroit as a steel moulder and remarried and possibly lived on Canfield St,Detroit. Robert was born 25 Feb 1884 in Scotland. He arrived in Hamilton about 1909. He was possibly a steel moulder. His wife, Marion died in 1918 in Hamilton. She was born in Stenhousmuir, Scotland. Looking for Robert's brother, Alexander M. GILLESPIE b. 1893, d. 17 Jan 1966 in White Lake Twp, Pontiac, Oakland Co, MI, buried in Grandlawn Cemetery, Detroit, Wayne Co, MI. He worked as a moulder in the Aluminum industry in MI. Alex's wife was Dora M. WHITEHEAD b. 1896 she died 9 Mar 1981 in Detroit and is buried in unknown area. In a plot she bought in 1940 at Grandlawn Cemetery, her husband Alex Gillespie and a Benjamin Whitehead are buried. She is buried in an unknown cemetery.
