HALDEMAN; GA,USA; 1864 I have heard that a General Walter Haldeman and his family lived in Warrenton, GA in 1861-1863 during the War Between the States. A guest from Kentucky was supposedly resident in their home at the time of the birth of a son named Walter Haldeman Clarke, my great-grandfather. His father was with the First Kentucky Brigade and had been wounded in the battle of Dalton. We cannot locate reference to the Haldemans. Many thanks.
