Richard was born circa1622 in London, England, married Ruth BURGESS in 1646 and came to Barnstable, MA where the family stayed for many generations. Their son, Richard TAYLOR, Jr. was born 9 June 1652, married Hannah ?. Their son Ebenezer TAYLOR was born May 1659, married Mary ?. Their son Daniell TAYLOR was born 28 Oct 1722, married Elizabeth JOYCE 28 Sept 1746. Their son Joshua TAYLOR was born 24 April 1751, married Priscilla GORHAM 18 Sept 1774. Their son Roland Gorham TAYLOR was born 30 Nov1780, married Mary (Polly) GAGE 26 Nov 1805. Most recently, I am researching their daughter Phebe Thatcher TAYLOR. She was born in 1821 in South Dartmouth, MA to Roland TAYLOR and Mary (Polly) GAGE. Both her parents were born in Barnstable, MA. She married William Macy WILBER in 1840 and lived in New Bedford and Dartmouth, MA. They had 5 children: Maria Macy, Roland Taylor, Mary Gage, William Sanford & Charles Allen.
