BANKHEAD; USA; -1850 I know this is incredibly vague. My ancestors came from America in 1850 with the rumour that " the father thought he'd killed somebody". All I have is the sir-name BANKHEAD and the rumour that we were related to Tallulah Bankhead. If this is the case then it would be the generation of her Great Grandfather. One other clue is the middle name of one of the grandchildren being ALCORN. I'm tenuously hoping this to be the maiden name of the wife of the 'emigrating' Bankhead.
