LEITCHENBERG; DEU>USA; 1841-1875 I am hoping someone has information to my ancestor, August Thomas LEITCHENBURG. August was born on 15 Oct 1841 in Prussia Germany. Exact location of his birth is unknown. According to his emigration papers, it states August came from a town known as Steinkunzendorf. This town is in today's Poland. I am assuming he was born there but do not have accurate documents to prove it. He left Germany in 1875 to the United States. He later resided in Bloomington (McLean Co.), IL.
