PATE, Florence Haseltine; TN,USA > TX,USA > CA,USA; 1960-1940 PATE, Florence Haseltine (+ MCKEE, HASELTINE) Looking for any information about Florence, her ancestors, siblings, and parents. I have her marriage and children then she disappears and her husband remarries 8 years later. I also have her mother's name, stepfather's name and step-sisters' names. I will be happy to share any information I have about her descendants. Florence was a step-child to William Pate. This is confirmed, verbally, by three members of the Pate Family, Alice Inga, Belle Byers, and Jean Hazlewood and at least one of the McKee family. No one thinks she was legally adopted. Also, we are not sure if Hasletine (not sure of the spelling) was her natural father's name or Eda's miden name. According to Alice Inga's mother, in her late 80s, Florence came to Escondido, CA in the late 1910s, abt. 1918, to visit her mother and the Pates living there. She was with her husband named Patrick (no last name remembered). Patrick had diabeties and wore a "urine bag" that had to be emptied often. This embarrased one of the Pates who went downtown with him to buy something and Patrick emptied the bag in the street. Basic Information Born: Abt: 1866 in Tennessee.
