HORNUNG; Buffalo,NY,USA; c. 1850 Aurora, Colorado, USA 31 January 1998 Howdy: I'm searching for full name of subject and connected genealogy for HORNUNG or HORN"UNG who was mayor of Buffalo, NY in mid 1800's. He had at least one daughter ANNA MARIE (or MARIA) HORN"UNG (often written HORNUNG) who married CARL WILHELM CHRISTIAN W"URZ (changed to WUERZ ) in Buffalo, New York in 1861. He was later a lieutenant and captain in the New York Volunteers in Civil War and organized at least one company of soldiers from Erie County.
