MCCRAY; SCT > TN,USA; 1745-1819 Looking for information on the siblings, parents, and descendants of Daniel McCRAY (McCRAE, etc.), born in Scotland c1745. In 1768 he married Sarah NODDING in either VA or MD. Supposedly they had eleven children. I am aware of Henry and Thomas, both veterans of the War of 1812. Thomas was born in 1781 in Washington Co., TN. He married Jane MOORE. They supposedly had ten children, one of which was Mary Moore McCRAY who married Jacob BUCK. By c1844 Thomas moved his family to the Lawrence Co., MO area. Daniel McCRAY died in 1819 in TN. Any information on this family, especially further details on their Scottish heritage, appreciated.
