Parents are unknown but 1910 census states they were both born in Alabama and 1900 census says his father was born in GA. His mother may have been named Adline TANNER b 1834 whose father was born in SC, John was married in 1897 to: JoAnna JOHNSON b Oct 7, 1872 in Alabama d Mar 21, 1939 in Alabama buried with her husband. Daughter of Mary Caroline BALDWIN JOHNSON, who died in 1892, possibly around Hokes Bluff AL.
