REED; VA,USA > KY,USA; c. 1800- I am looking for information on the family of Benjamin REED who was probably born in the late 1700s, was in VA by 1800, and in KY (Morgan County) by 1824. He was apparently a Revolutionary War soldier. As near as I can tell, he had a son James (b. c1800 in VA) who married Alcy FERGUSON, a daughter Nancy who married James LEWIS and a son Daniel who married Martha LEWIS. (James' sister) In 1834 his children (except for Daniel) moved to Washington County, AR, although I'm not sure if Benjamin was still alive. Any information about any of these families would be very appreciated. I am also trying to research a possible relationship between the LEWISes who married the REEDs and some LEWISes who migrated from Floyd Co., KY to Washington Co., AR at the same time and intermarried with REEDs and FERGUSONs in the area of White River Township.
