FUCHS / FOX; Horrenberg, BAD,DEU>Philadelphia, PA,USA; 1846-1878 Can anyone help me tracing the stepbrother of my G-G-grandfather: Daniel FUCHS (I assume that the name Fuchs was changed into Fox in US), b. 23.07.1818 in Horrenberg/Baden/Germany. He, his wife Anna Maria nee HERING and his sons Philipp (b. 1844) and Johann Baptist (b. 1845) emigrated from Germany to USA in 1846. On Feb 2, 1849 he had sworn the Oath of Allegiance before the Philadelphia Court of Quarter Sessions. Date of declaration of Intention before the Philadelphia District Court was Oct. 13, 1851. His last (October, 1878) known address was: Daniel Fuchs care of Mr. George Altmaier Corner Howard and Diamond Street Philadelphia, PA.
