BUFF, Jacob; DEU> OH,USA; c. 1880 I am searching for any leads for my gggrandfather's family. Jacob BUFF was born 1829 in Germany (no idea where). He married Margaret SCHAEFER (umlaut a), supposedly a Swiss Catholic, in Germany (no idea when or where). They had three children in Germany, Jacob Valentine, Margaret, and Rosa; then he left for Hancock County, Ohio around 1883. He sent money back for the family to join him in Ohio; a fourth child, Elsie, was born in January 1890 in Hancock County. I have no access to GTA. Any suggestions? Deb Kuehne [email protected]
