CONNORS, Martin; IRL > MI,USA; 1850-1900 Martin Connors was probably born between 1850 and 1860 in Ireland (source: US census shows children and father's birthplace as Ireland). He married Minnie Gusenbauer, b. 1852 in Michigan and had these children: Cecilia W. Connors, b abt 1882, Peter John Connors, b. Sep 7, 1884, Margaret Connors b. Sep 1886, Thomas Connors, b. abt 1890, and Martin Connors, b. abt 1891. All these kids were born in Michigan, presumably in the area about Hudson, Michigan. Minnie appears in the 1900 and 1910 censuses (censi?) as a widow. My father said Martin was the town drunk, which would explain his early death, although Minnie did report they were married 19 years.
