He left New York City and during the Revolution was in the militia and a resident of Tryon County. Does anyone have information on their ancestor who was in the raid on Fort Plank August 1780? Was there a certain area, of the then Germany, where the SCHREIBER name was prominent in 1750? I would gratefully appreciate help. [email protected]
