LACKEY; AlexanderCo,IL,USA; 1883 Hello To All, I'm trying to research my great grandmother Sarah Ellen Lackey who was born March, 20, 1883 in Cairo, IL. I have no idea who her parents are or her siblings. The 1890 census isn't available for me to find her in. It's the one she would of shown up in if they hadn't been destroyed. She was married by Abt. 1899 to Richard Mack Lindsay in Cairo, IL. They left Illinois and went to Pulaski Co., AR., then moved to Georgia and then came to Florida in about 1925 which is where they stayed until their death. Can anyone provide me with a possible lookup at marriage records in Alexander Co., IL. for a marriage date or possibly know who her parents were. I have a copy of her death certificate and the informant wrote that her parents were unknown. She's probably an alien as Fox Mulder would say.
