I would like to know who their parents were in Germany, and their grandparents, etc. Hope to find Joseph's resting place, along with his brother, and his mother whom brought them to the USA. The Swartzel named has been shortened from the original spelling at port of entry via Ellis Island, NY/NJ. Other Surnames are Book, Day, Tagnon, Lemen, Menaugh, Mensinger, Horrall all from the Indiana, and Kentucky area in the USA, 1800's and early 1900's Other Surnames fourth generation are; Moser, Petrone, and Coberg.
