ELY / FISH; VT,USA>NY,USA; 1830 From: Leon & Dee <[email protected]> Subject: FISH / ELY; VT,USA>WI,USA; 1830 Date: Sunday, February 01, 1998 11:04 AM Lyman FISH, born 1807-8 in Vermont, married 1) Adeline Ella ELY or ELLIS>(b. 12/12/1806 - d. 11/27/1841), m. 2) Hanna KING (b. 1/15/1814 - d. 3/1871) Handwritten notes indicate that Adeline was buried in New York "where her people lived". Lyman and Hannah were married 01/04/1842 (37 days after death of Adeline) in NY, location unknown. Lyman died 1881, buried in Yankeetown Cemetery, Crawford County, WI. I have found two promising census reports with a Lyman Fish entered: 1830 Ft. Ann Twp, Washington County, NY, and 1850 Brasher, St. Lawrence County, NY (has Hannah & children listed). I have not been able to find much info locally or at the FHC for these two locations. Information regarding parents of Lyman and/or Adeline, original location in VT or marriage information or cemetery info on Adeline would be greatly appreciated! Thank you, Dee
