MERCER; FL,USA; 1840-1998 I'm researching the Mercers of Florida. They've been in Florida since abt. 1830/1840. I have a web site called "The Lindsays of Florida" but it's mostly on the Mercers. My grandmother was Annie Mae Mercer. She married Jessie James Lindsay in Hardee Co., FL. She was the daughter of Alec Mercer and Lizzie McInnis. Alec is the son of Charles Mercer and Mettie Zula Prine. Lizzie was the daughter of Alexander McInnis and Mattie Forrest. etc. etc. etc. I don't know where the Mercers came from for sure and would appreciate any help I can get.
