Thomaston, Rockland, ME,USA;1840-1890 I am seeking information on the early years and parents of Elona (or Alma or Elonia) Miller. According to later records she was born in Hampden, Maine about 1840, was living in Rockland by 1860. In 1866, she married William F. Searles, a Ship's Captain who had been born in England. They had a number of children, including, Lillian, William A. and Catherine. Elona MILLER SEARLES died in Rockland, Maine in 1890. I'd appreciate any help.
