Galway, Ireland for the 1837 Tithe and Applotment. I believe he filed Declaration of Intention to become a citizen on 8 October 1838 in Lancaster, PA. He is found in New Street, Norwegian Twp., Schulykill Co., PA for the 1860 census, age 60 and 1870 census age 74. His known children are Catharine who married Lawrence FINN (also of Kilconnell, Galway, IRE); Daniel who may never have married; and Michael who married Bridget CUNNINGHAM. John Kelly b. abt 1822 who married Mary _____ is likely also his son. He may also be the Michael Kelly in Norwegian Twp. for the 1840 census. Haven't found him in 1850.
