COWLEY, Joseph; ENG>USA; 1889 Hi! My ggrandfather, Joseph Cowley, came to the United States (Marshall or Jackson, MI) around the 1889 timeframe. Married Emma Harther in Marshall, MI in 1889. By 1900 was dead, leaving Emma and 5 children living in Jackson, Mi on West Trail St. Sometime between 1899-1900, Joseph died in a gas explosion. If anyone has any info I'd really appreciate it. Can't find out anything in census info and haven't been able to track down a death or marriage cert. Please help. Thanks.
