LINDSAY; VA,USA>IL,USA> AR,USA>FL,USA; 1870-1998 Hello Rooters, I'm researching Richard Mack Lindsay, b. July 4, 1870, Richmond, VA. Richard had a brother William Lindsay who lived in Maysville, KY. and 2 sisters Annie Lindsay Simpson and Lily Lindsay Thuckles? both living in TX. Richard moved to Cairo, IL. where he met Sarah Ellen Lackey and mrried her. They had 3 children that I know of: Charles Walter Lindsay born in 1900, Cairo, IL., Helen Hazel Lindsay, born Feb. 9, 1908 in Cairo, IL. and Jessie James Lindsay born Feb. 22, 1914 in Little Rock, AR. Richard worked for the Illinois Central Railroad, where I believe he retired from. On Richard's death certificate it states his fathers name is Mack Lindsay and mother is unknown. I have all kinds of data on Richard's children and their descedents but nothing on Richard's parents or Richard's siblings. Can someone help? I have a web site Called "The Lindsays of Florida" which is a little ironic since the majority of data I have is on other surnames, not Lindsay. Lindsay is taking precedence over all other surnames for now since that is my own last name. Please help if you can.
