HORN; USA; 1860- At least one member of the HORN family of Bedfordshire/Hertfordshire, England, emigrated to the United States towards the end of the 19th century. The individual/s concerned are one or more of the following:- Charles HORN, baptised in Dunstable Parish Church on 22nd Oct 1838 Frederick Francis HORN,bap. in Luton Parish Church, on 16th March 1831 George Edward HORN, bap. in Luton Parish Church on 22nd June 1853 William Felix HORN, bap. in Luton Parish Church on 21st March 1858 They had a number of sisters, one of whom [Sophy] settled in Cobourg, Ontario, Canada. The family subsequently moved to Hitchin in Hertfordshire where their father [Charles HORN] continued his business as a Corn Dealer until he retired c.1887. Are these names familiar to anyone?
